Unlike cream-based commercial ghee, our Bilona method uses the whole milk — the curd is hand-churned into butter and the leftover buttermilk (chaas) is fed back to our cows. That makes it far more nutritious, and naturally costlier to produce.
Per tablespoon (~13 g) of our A2 Gir Cow Ghee. Ghee is 99.5% pure butterfat — but what matters is the quality of those fats: short-chain fatty acids like butyric acid, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), and the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E & K that refined oils and commercial ghee simply don't offer.
